Merchandising Dress Code
Each company’s reputation is reflected by the image its merchandisers present to the clients and customers. Therefore, it is very important that you dress in a professional manner at all times.

Know your company’s dress code and grooming policy.

As a professional merchandiser, it is important to:

* Maintain a neat and clean appearance
* Use good judgment in selecting clothing
* Torn, tattered or dirty clothing is never acceptable.
* For safety reasons, open toed shoes or sandals are not allowed.
* Most of the time jeans are not allowed
* Revealing clothing is unacceptable.
* Hair must be clean and neat at all times.
* Wear your name tag or badge at all times.

As a professional merchandiser you are expected to:

* Meet the quality and productivity expected by your company
* Demonstrate the values and mission-statement of your company
* Conduct yourself as a professional, qualified and customer-driven merchandiser
* Dress professionally and follow company policies on grooming
